The Valerian herb is known for its sedative affect; especially the leaves of this herb. The sedative Valium is made from the extracts of this herb. It can be imbibed as a tincture or tea and is very effective for treating drug addiction herbally. However, it needs to be taken sincerely atleast for a fortnight.
